Second Entry April Creative Dare..

This is a second one I am adding to Aprils Creative Dare with Tracy Weinzapfel..  Will write more later...

My Five Words- April's Creative Dare...

Here is my entry for the Creative Dare: April Challenge with Tracy Weinzapfel.. We were told to do something and use five words we wanted to be remembered for.  I think it was more hard to come up with the words than the design. :-)  Never thought about what I wanted to be remembered for, once I left here yanno. I had different words and they seemed simple and frankly the last thing I want to be remembered for.. is being simple.. lol  This is what I came up with and I hope you like it!

Above on water color paper.. I used my SU and Staedtler's water color crayons, Michael's acrylics, crafter's workshop stencil, copic marker, CTMH ink pad and some flat back pearls.  Thank You for looking... :-)

Mixed Media Mondays Week of 4/22

Again I had  a ball with Tracy Weinzapfel and the fine folks from Mixed Media Mondays  on Facebook, click here to join!!  I played right along with Tracy and this is what I came up with..  

I need a new camera or better lighting.. (The lighting is cheaper.. lol)

Used my water color crayons-cool colors on mixed media paper...  let it dry.. came back with warm acrylics to layer.. Sprayed page with water and watched the paint sliiiiide... lol  Bubble wrapped  smashed some dots for Angie ( I don't know who she is yet.. lol, but I thought it was cute when Tracy said to do it on hers.. so I said why not.. lol)  ... used a few Tim Holtz stamps (wings on big heart and my corners) sprayed whole page with home made silver- lavender glimmer mist.. added crumpled book paper hearts .. that were brushed with black archival ink.. and drizzled some red stickles on them.. and the wings.. and finally wrote the words with a red copic marker.. and added accents with stickles again...  I hate I don't have a good camera..   the colors dont shimmer like my actual one at all.. anywho.. Mixed Media Mondays , Week of 4/15

Of course I had fun making this one.. It's my favorite drink!! COFFEE  Tracy told us to try a little grunge, not quite sure how well that went.. lol    Love my graphite pencils.. and my watercolor crayons from Stampin Up and some others I got from a Michaels.  Can't wait to try some gelatos.. or some Derwent products!  This is what I did..
