Had fun creating this hinge page with Frosted Designs very own Sandee Setliff and a Deco Art OutReach Blogger.. The challenge was to create a hinge page as shown in this video by SandeeNC. (this is the face portions)

Now for my version.. Using the hinge/extension as well.. I concentrated onthe use of my DecoArt Acrylic paints, paint pens, modeling paste and did some journaling with myPitt pens by Faber Castell on my Canson water color 140lb paper! (That paper really holds up to a lot of liquids!)  Anywho.  Here is my journals page and a collage of close up areas of the page.  Thanks for looking!!!

The submarine itself is a flap/extension/hinge and on the back of it I wrote out the name Beatles.. I didn't mention that this page was created because today Feb 9, 1964 .. 50 years ago today.. The Beatles appeared for the first time on the Ed Sullivan show.. :)  Again.. Thanks for looking...

DecoArt Mixed Media Stencil: Oopsy Daisy Zendoodle

From my previous post when I mixed my DecoArt Neons with the alcohol and made some sprays.. I decided to take out my DecoArt Americana Oopsy Daisy and a few of my favorite black pen permanent writing pens from Faber Castell and Sharpe.  I traced the the stencil and filled the stencil with the zendoodles.  This was  a fun process.. Quite relaxing!!  I hope you give DecoArt Americana paints and stencils a try sooner then later!! :)
