Day 9- #90daysofblogging

This will be uber quick!  A little while back my friend Vicki Ann aka Sandy Beach and I did a Google Hangout and we created Journals based on JenniBellie Journal Workshop.  I love Jenniebellie she is a very creative young lady.. seems like she has a wonderful spirit.  Anyway back to the journal.  I had never created a journal such as this.. well completed one I should say.   I had nevr gotten pass the decoupage paper bits to the base paper of the journal.  Let me show you the journal I created with her inspired by Jennibellie.

Wee took a sheet of paper and decoupaged paper bits.. then added some gesso, stampage, paints and stencils.  Later we folded it.. like a Zine.  I added stamped images instead of drawing.  I also did some doodling on the pages.. Decided to embellish  the front with a wooden star that I painted with a DECO Arts Snow effect product. I stamped the word embrace and framed it.  Lastly I took some twine and I strung some handmade paper beads to the spine of the book for coolness factor.

I really like it.. and I hope to make more soon.. really soon,,,

Jennibelle 7 days Challenge- Day 1 Markers..

I decided to join my friend Sandy/Vicki on the Jennibelle 7 day challenge

Jenni says the object is to get 7 pieces of paper and to do one thing to them each day for 7 days..  By the end of the 7 days you will have 7 background pages to play with,

So I grabbed some Project Life grid cards I got on clearance at Hobby Lobby!

I don't do project life, but after doing ICAD (index card a day) with Daisy Yellow, these cards seemed more than perfect to do some mini. or index size art.. and it had grids... awesome for me!

Well these post won't be long or I will be discouraged from creating them daily for the next 7 days.. lol  Well day one on my grid papers.. I used markers!

Paper Beads for my Inspiration Station.. Jennibellie Inspired :)

Decided I was going to make some paper beads.. like the ones I saw in Jennibellie's Inspiration station.  I was going to use some of my favorite papers , in my favorite colors first..  Then i just started picking all kinds of papers I liked.. and after a little bit.. I had a small collection.. The glue I used was Helmar's Tacky  Glue and Ranger's Glossy Accents.  :)

You can start out making these beads with a toothpick or skewers to roll your papers on.. but I later bought a bead roller from JustJennDesignz here.
