May's Creative Dare with Tracy Weinzapfel

The Creative Dare is to write a letter to you.  Write a letter to the infant you, toddler you, teenager you, etc.  Think back to how far you have come and not where you wish you were.  Give yourself praise for the path you have taken.  You can read Tracy's letter HERE.

I chose not to write a letter for this project. What I did do was use something I got this from a magazine called Essence, that comes to the house..  Many parts seemed appropriate to use for myself.  Which meant less writing for me, HA!! It came from the Essence June 2013  

The Pledge by Lisa Nichols reads as following:

I added this pledge to the pocket of this art journal page...  This page was full of layers, gesso, patterned papers, acrylics and watercolor paints, stencils, punches, embossed papers, bling mesh and a hand-made pocket to hold the letter..  :-)  FUN!!  Don't forget to come hang out out with great group of folks on FB at Mixed Media Mondays with Tracy Weinzapfel and on almost every Monday night on her
